CHAMBER PASTEURIZER Typ KP 2/2

How does it work?

The chamber pasteurizer was designed especially for pasteurization (the preservation of food through the application of heat) for use in small businesses. It can handle bottles, cans and other waterproof containers that hold beverages like beer or juices or other preserved foods.

A prerequisite is that the containers are able to withstand excess pressure that may develop during the process (for example, during the application the pressure will rise in containers holding carbonated beverages).
The maximum applicable temperature for pasteurization is about 90°C.

Because of its small dimensions, the chamber pasteurizer uses a space of only 2m x 2,5m. Wheels give it mobility so that it may be pushed “into the corner” when not in use. Due to its small width it will fit through most doors.

In order to start working, the chamber pasteurizer needs to be connected only to electricity and to cold water. Its operation is simple, the process is fully automated and needs no supervision. Therefore, in micro- and pub breweries this chamber pasteurizer can be operated by the same personnel that does the bottling.
A built-in programmable logical control (PLC) allows an extremely flexible operation and high precision.
